Being a winegrower:
a vocation
“Being a winegrower is not just working the land and producing fruit, but also transmitting emotions. Pass them on to you, wine lovers; but also to our children.
It seemed logical to me to follow my father’s steps in 1988, and I was happy to succeed him as head of the estate to make it prosper.
Today, I am very proud that I passed on my passion for this noble profession to my children Charlotte and Julien, and delighted to see the evolution of work in the vineyard and in the cellar, which is expressed in our wines. ”
Pierre-Yves Perrachon
Pierre-yves
The patriarch
The Château has no secret for him. He can be in the vineyard, in the cellar, at the office, and on the phone at the same time! Largely open-minded, he was one of the first winemakers to vinify overseas, in California and in Saint-Emilion, a long time ago.
Marie-Luce
The keystone of the estate
With a reserved temperament, she rarely puts herself forward … and yet her work is so precious: accounting, administration, invoicing … so many tedious tasks that our ancestor winegrowers were blessed not to know.

Charlotte
The Iron Lady
She is the chef who escapes nothing, who knows how to combine her skills as an oenologist with the sustainability and smooth running of the family business. Drawing on her winemaking experiences in France and abroad, she has become indispensable as a cellar master.
Julien
Tractor for ever
After a short experience with a manufacturer of vine tractors, he preferred to use them and therefore quickly found his place as a crop manager in the “Team Château Bonnet”. He has fond memories of his winemaking campaign in Chile, and thanks to his playful character and pragmatism, he is ready to take on the challenge of gradually switching our vineyard to organic viticulture.

They get their hands dirty too : Georgette, Jean-François, Alain et Robert !
Among these invaluable helps, each year we welcome around forty grape pickers in a friendly atmosphere with joy – sharing – singing – snacks and table football!
